You would think, that if a photographer were to travel, that she would take all her gear with her, and shoot the most professional, gorgeous travel pictures.
Not me.
I will travel with my iphone if I can help it, mainly because I spend so much time with my professional gear, that when not at work, I try to challenge myself with “consumer” gear. After all, it’s the person behind the camera, NOT the camera. Right? 
The truth is, my images aren’t the ones that are the most technically perfect. My favorite images – whether my own or my clients’ – are the ones with heart. The ones with meaning. The ones that remind me of someone, or a moment, or something important/funny/happy. So here are my favorites from the last few weeks:

I got my hair permed for the FIRST time while in Malaysia! That was BEFORE I found out what girls had to go through for this “little” beauty regimen.

And a little surprise — we went back to Paul’s dad’s house, to collect some old stuff, and found this little gem! A 1979 Nikon vintage FM3 model SLR body! I immediately put it work, and can’t wait to see the results!
